New Sony NWD MP3 Players

Sony have announced a range of new mp3 players which don't utilise the annoying Sonicstage software and have moved over to full MTP compatibility.

There's basically two versions of two capacities. You can either have a 1gb or 2gb model with or without an FM Tuner.

The basic model starts at an unberlievable £34.99 for the Sony NWD-B103 1GB USB Walkman and £54.99 for the 2GB model with FM tuner - Sony NWD-105F.

Sony S2 Walkman for Joggers

The Sony S2 Walkman takes on the new Nike & iPod jogging kit, and is a good alternative. It's water resistant, counts the amount of calories burned, how far you've gone and quite cleverly adjusts the songs if it senses that your tempo has changed. Another feature we like is that if you want to shuffle the music, just shake it fast three times!

This model has a 2GB capacity and holds about 1350 songs and should be around £90 when released in the UK.

Sony MP3 Player NW-A1200

Sony will be taking on the iPod Nano this Christmas with the Sony MP3 Player NW-A1200.

It has a 8GBN hard driveand should be priced just over the £100 mark.

It'll be available in pink and violet so we know its not going to be targeted at the male market.
