Gates: "Buy a CD and just rip it!"

There's been so much discussion on our other site for Zune MP3 Players about DRM and how Microsoft may have messed up big time on it. Now ZDNet is commenting that Bill Gates has suggested that people should just buy CD's in the traditional way and copy it to their MP3 Player.

Now for some that may seem a bit backward. But for me, it's great, I do that already. I just love owning the physical CD, letting the collection grow and swamp my living room. But I can appreciate how for others it is far from desirable.

So what are other people doing?
